Dr. Mary Beth O’Hagan, Ph.D. has been in private practice in Denver for 20 years. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame, and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Iowa, Dr. O’Hagan trained in New York City at the Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services, and in Boston at the Harvard School of Public Health.
Currently, her practice focuses on the completion of comprehensive psycho-educational evaluation of students (kindergarten through graduate programs) who are referred due to learning or attentional difficulties. She has expertise in diagnosing students with specific learning disabilities in reading, writing, and math as well as those with AD/HD. She provides direction to support students in the classroom and beyond it.

She works with a broad range of students, including many who are ‘twice exceptional,’ meaning intellectually gifted but challenged by a learning disability or AD/HD. The testing provided by Dr. O’Hagan includes components necessary to attempt to qualify students for extended time or other accommodations on standardized testing (ACT, SAT, GRE, MCAT, LSAT).
